In October 1947 in the town Istra was a town choir established which became in 1955 a choir of Russian folk singing. Also a dance group and a Russian folk orchestra were founded and in 1965 it was given the title of the ISTRA folk Song and Dance Ensemble. In 1998. the ensemble had its 50th anniversary. For these years the ensemble has got its own look keeping the regional style of performance, nurturing popular songs of the middle region of Russia, especially of Moscow region. So far, the group had more than 700 concerts and performed in Estonia, Ukraine, Byelorussia, Latvia. It also participated on many Festivals in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Holland as a representative of the Russian art.
Folk dance and song ensemble "Andok" was founded in 1980 in the town Proshyan of Kotayk region in Armenia. Its repertoire is rich and diversified; it includes folk music, songs and dances of Kotayk region and as well as of numerous regions of Armenia. The dances are performed in various costumes typical of each region, with Armenian different traditional instruments. During its ten years of existence the ensemble ANDOK has participated in different folklore festivals organised in numerous regions of Armenia. It has also taken part in different concerts and folklore festivals held in Russian Federation, Georgia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Rumania and in many other countries and was awarded different diplomas and prizes.
"ESTAMPAS BURGALESAS" - BURGOS
The folk group Estampas Burgalesas works since 1979. This great work has been traduced in many and very important national and international successes get by the dancers, singers and musicians. The group ha won the Silver Medal from Dijon (France) 1980 and the First Prize given away by the Public in the Scawina Song Prize in Poland 1990. They have taken part in many national and international festivals in Great Britain, Portugal, Holand, Belgium, Greece, Brazil etc. The ensemble also consists the children dance group with 500 children between 3 and 14 years old. The main motivation of the group and the members is to show the rich folk of Spain and their region all over the world.
"DE LA JEUNESSE DE LOUGA" - LOUGA
Senegal - country situated on the very west part of Africa. It has 2 seasons of the year. One is rainy and last for 3 or 4 months and the second one is dry and hot and lasts for 8 or 9 months. Agriculture is most important in the country and phosphate and iron are main minerals. 8 million inhabitants are mostly Moslems (90%) and the politic system is democratic. DANCES: Dances are deeply connected with the folklore of NDIAMBOUR. Some of the traditional dances are: La Yaba, Diola, Senegal Ruth La Yelha etc.
The folk group "Matija Gubec" was found in 1936. And in 65 years of it existence it's been working on the preservation of the traditional Croatian culture, "tambura" music, folk singing and the preservation of customs and dances. The group gathers young people form the town and has profiled itself as a town folk group. Compared to best folk groups a repertoire is achieved which enabled the approach to the world organisation for folk groups CIOFF. Unfailingly are many tours and performances in Croatia and abroad. The group participated on known international folk festivals in the organisation of CIOFF, UNESCO, Paris (Algeria, Sardinia, Holland, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Germany, France, two big tours in USA 1993. and 1996. Canada etc.) The group performs dances from all regions in the Republic of Croatia, in original folk costumes and with folk instruments.
