Rancho foclorico "As salineiras de lavos", PORTUGAL
The group comes from a tourist town Fiqueria da Foz, well known by its salt production. While working people used to sing and dance, and in 1959 they founded a group that preserved the culture linked with this activity through their songs and dances as well as their costumes (which represent the copies of those that were being used through the last decade of the 19th century and the first decade of the 20th century).
